		<title>Polesworth Scout Group </title>
		<description>Scouts are 10-14 year-old boys and girls. The Scout Section is the final Section that make up Polesworth Scout Group. Leading up to the Explorer Scout (14-18 years) Section run through the district.        Our Scouts meet once a week in a Troop which is run by a trained adult Scout Leader supported by Young Leaders and Helpers.    The main theme of the Scout activities is learning to work together, whilst taking part in new activities and improving on current skills.  They have the chance to gain Activity Badges and Challenge Awards ranging from Photography to World Conservation.    Being outdoors is important and there are many opportunities to learn the traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking    Activities include  	Cooking  	Team Skills  	Camping  	Climbing  	Abseiling  	Canoeing  	Archery  	Sporting Activities  	IT Skills          The Scout Uniform consists of a Teal shirt and Navy Blue cargo style trousers.  A price list is available on our District Scout shop information page.  A group neckerchief is also worn  this is purchased through your section leader.
