The Beaver Scout Section is the youngest of the three Sections that make up Polesworth Scout Group – leading up to Cub Scout (8 – 10), Scout (10 – 14) and then onto Explorer Scout (14 – 18) sections. Our Beaver Scouts meet once a week in a ‘Colony’, which is run by a trained adult Beaver Leader and Assistant Beaver Leaders and Helpers. Beaver Scout activities are a combination of learning and having fun. They learn about themselves and how to look after themselves, they get to know people from their local community. They find out about other countries and explore through organised activities, they care by helping those around them THEY ALSO • Play games • Meet new friends • Gain badges • Go on outings and visits • Go outside and learn about the outdoors • Create things • Listen to stories The Beaver Uniform consists of a Turquoise Sweatshirt and Navy Blue cargo style trousers. A price list is available on our District Scout shop information page. A group neckerchief is also worn – this is purchased through your section leader.
