During the year we try and organise 2 sleepovers. During the sleepover the beavers are only allowed to be away from there parents for 24 hours and the sleeping accommodation is indoors. As this could be the first time that the children have been away from parents this is a plenty of time for them to settle in and enjoy the fun.

One sleepover is normally in the early summer and maybe part of a bigger group camp. Being part of the group camp can help the beavers meet some of the other members of the group and see how a full 2 night camp is run. For the last few years we have run a Christmas sleepover near the beginning of December. This sleepover is always a favorite with the beavers as there may be some early Christmas surprises instore. It also gives busy parents a bit of time to start getting Christmas sorted.

The Beavers have one leader with a sleepover permit and two others with application pending.
