During the year we organise 5 or 6 weekend camps, each one covering different activities, designed to teach new skills or present new challenges.
At Polesworth we are lucky to have three leaders with greenfield nights away permits and one with a site permit. This means we can camp almost anywhere, from a simple field or woodland, a hillside or traditional scout camp sites or youth hostels.
During 2009 and 2010 we have completed Water camps, Survival camps, troop camps, activity and group camps, walking camps and expedition challenges.
Winter expedition / Leavers camp Jan 2011.
Troop camp 29th April.
Leaders/Adult camp 13th May 2011.
County Born Survivor camp 8th July 2011.
Troop camp 16th September 2011.

Troop camp 14th October 2011.
Winter camp Dates to be advised (Dec 2011/January 2012).
If anyone wishes to register their interest on any of these camps they should contact the leaders.
We will be also encouraging individual patrols to have a go at organising their own patrol camps during the year. The scouts will work with a leader to plan every aspect of their very own camp. Patrols decide their own programme, menu, location and can even attain their own nights away passport.
