We are having a shake up with the patrols, this is to even out the
numbers and to assign others new Patrol leaders and Assistant Patrol
Leaders to help the Patrols work effectively. We are also due another big
influx of cubs at Easter and again in September. So we have decided

We were lucky enough to have an Australian Scout join us for our troop evening last thursday. Zoe, from Brisbane, joined in tie-dying T-shirts with us before giving us a talk about how scouting differs in Australia from here in England (apart from it being a whole lot colder!) and of course how similar some things are.
I'm sure the whole troop enjoyed having her with us and found her presentation enthralling. We would like to thank her for the visit, and wish her a safe journey home and the best of luck for the future.
Have you ever wondered about what camp is all about for your kids, or wanted to do some of the activities they do, then you're in luck.
This may we will be putting on a camp for adults packed full of activites, this will be run by the section leaders for parents and any other adults in the local community who would like a taste of what camp is like.
The camp programme has yet to be finalised, but will include activities such as climbing, abseiling, pioneering, archery, backwoods cooking and much more. All meals will be included in the price which will be around £40 per person for the weekend.
If you think would like to come along for the weekend please register your interest with us here, so that we can get an idea of numbers. This will help us get a better idea of what activities we can put on, and a better idea of cost.
The new programme for scouts is available to download in the programmes section.
